Manifesting your dream journey to Italy requires planning. We always start with your vision, goals, and preferences to ensure that every dollar of your investment is well spent.

VISION, GOALS & EXPECTATIONS: Starting with a questionnaire, we'll build a travel profile just for you that captures your unique travel preferences and ideas.

BUDGET & TIMELINE PLANNING: Want to travel next year? In three years? Using our planning and budgeting tools, we start with the end in mind and work backward from there to understand the art of the possible.

PRE-TRAVEL PREP:
Aside from the trip itself, we make sure to think through all the logistics, like passports and travel documents, work and personal arrangements, and any other "obstacles" you may have to consider.

Research & Recommendations

If you don't have the time, desire or skills to do extensive research, we're here to do the heavy lifting. Building off of your travel goals and preferences, we begin to shape ideas for locations you'd like to visit, be it regions, provinces, and/or municipalities. (Hint: Think of Italy's 20 regions as U.S. states, provinces as counties within each state, and municipalities as cities, towns, and villages.)

GEOGRAPHY/REGION:
Want to be in a remote village in the Tuscan valley or in a vibrant city setting?

ACCOMMODATION TYPE:
Seaside hotel or rooftop apartment? Yurt or farm stay?

EXCURSIONS & ACTIVITIES:
Sip wine in a vineyard or truffle hunt? Hike the Apennines or hit every major landmark in Florence?

Once we've discussed our research findings and ideas with you, we can begin to craft your custom itinerary and breathe life into your vision!

ITINERARY DESIGN:
We expect there to be several iterations to your itinerary. It's intended to be a living document we shape together until we get it right.

PRICING & BUDGETING:
We go back to your budget profile and confirm whether we're on track or need to make adjustments.

TRANSPORTATION & LOGISTICS:
Aside from airfare, there are many other transportation options we'll help you think through (i.e., car rental, train, bus, taxi, etc.), each with its own logistical considerations.

Other Things to Know

  • Depending on your needs and availability, the planning process could take anywhere from one week to several weeks.

  • We will schedule regular touch points throughout the process to stay connected and review deliverables.

  • Customized deliverables include your travel profile, your budget and timeline, research findings, and an itinerary; the planning package you choose (and thus hours expended) determines how comprehensive each deliverable will be.

  • We can estimate a price range for various travel costs, but pricing is always subject to change and out of our control.

  • You will manage all payments and bookings related to your itinerary.

  • We will also include travel checklists, general recommendations, and insider tips.
